Since 2008, our ad formats have served as the framework for the industry’s most compelling and high-performing mobile rich media. Using HTML5 to tap into the unique capabilities of mobile devices, we’ve built smartphone and tablet campaigns that push the boundaries of creativity, generate buzz and – most importantly – drive performance and value for top tier advertisers and publishers.
However, as mobile advertising increasingly becomes a critical piece of the marketing mix, we believe the industry needs a more open approach to ad creation.
That’s why we’re excited to announce Medialets Create™, a one-of-a-kind certification program that puts the knowledge and tools for mobile rich media ad creation into the hands of agencies and in-house creative teams. Medialets Create™ not only empowers the creative community to build high impact mobile rich media ads for the most widely deployed ad platform, it gives advertisers the creative control they want while enabling scale for this rapidly growing space.
Medialets Create™ launches in beta today with some of the industry’s most innovative and creative companies on board as beta partners, including AKQA, AvatarLabs, The Hyperfactory, MRM Worldwide, Ogilvy North America, Razorfish, Southern Realm, Theorem, and The Visionaire Group.
“Medialets Create™ has enabled AKQA to create mobile ad experiences with a great amount of creative flexibility while keeping the development and testing steps simple and straightforward,” said James De Jesus, director of creative development, AKQA. “Our partnership with Medialets enables us to deliver a more holistic overall mobile solution for our clients.”
In the coming months, we’ll expand the Medialets Create™ program while also continuing to work closely with our publisher clients and their advertisers to develop high-impact, cutting-edge mobile campaigns.
“Medialets Create™ will be an extremely valuable product for agencies and the mobile marketing industry. We believe that opening up access to these kinds of development platforms to the larger community fosters innovation and creates superior experiences for consumers,” said Paul Gelb, director, mobile practice lead at Razorfish.
