Congratulations to Andrew Breen, Medialets VP of Product and Alliances, who received the IAB Service Excellence Award last night. The award was based on his contributions to MRAID 1.0, the common API for mobile rich media specification designed to make it easier for both the buy and sell side to deliver campaigns that run across different apps and platforms. Medialets’ Chief Architect, Joe Stein, was recently invited to present at Cassandra NYC 2011, an event focused on the latest developments in the open-source database, Apache Cassandra, and “big data” solutions.
Joe’s presentation, entitled “How to Use Cassandra As The Central Nervous System Of Distributed Systems”, discussed real-time analytics using NoSQL and distributed systems at Medialets. (more…)
