Earlier this week, in yet another indication that 2010 represents a tipping point for mobile rich media, mobile rich media swept Digiday’s 2010 MOBI Awards.

The MOBI Awards’ mission is to honor the groundbreaking work in multiple Mobile categories, including websites, advertising, creative, agencies, and marketers. Notably, this year many of the finalists and winners alike demonstrated their mobile prowess with rich media creative – a clear indicator that both publishers and brands recognize that the mobile environment enables unprecedented, high-value consumer and brand connections.
